Starting lineup

You pick who starts Game 1. From Game 2 onwards the app chooses automatically — always the players with least time, following your formation shape where possible.

Manual Lineup Editing (v5)

Switch to Manual mode. Each game card shows an Edit button. In edit mode, every player in the squad has two toggle buttons — one for each half. Click to add or remove them from that half independently. The GK is locked on for both halves. You can use any player in any half — there's no resting restriction in manual mode. Stats update live as you edit.

Auto vs Manual snapshot

The Auto toggle always shows the algorithm's output. Manual is your edited version. Reset to Auto wipes your changes. Both views show the same two-half layout so you can compare directly.

Ability Ratings

Each player has an ability rating 1–10. The 1st and 2nd half ability totals are shown for every game so you can see balance at a glance.

Core Players

Tap a player's number to mark them as a Core Player (turns blue). Core players are last to be given a full game off by the algorithm.
